Can you password protect the non-stop backup?

As above, can you in any way apply encryption to the non stop backup in the same way you can with the other backup types? I think it is a bit silly the way they allow you to encrypt all your backups except the non stop backup if it isn't possible.

Can you please let me know if it is possible and if it is how do you do it?
