cannot connect to ftp

Thread needs solution

I do the homework of https://kb.acronis.com/content/34224

still I cannot connect. Please observe that I can connect by filezilla

I set path to ftp://<myIp> and port to 'myPort'

I set user to 'mySelf' (my user)

I set the same password as I enter in filezilla

test connection always fails

if filezilla works it is out of question to play with DHCP, ports forwarding etc.)

Marco, are you using ATIH 2015 latest build 6613?  The KB document refers to ATIH 2014 for FTP.

I updated Acronis 2015 to the latest build: still cannot connect

I am using AV G antivirisu but disable the firewall. Does not help

I then put in the path dialog box <myIp> instead of ftp://<myIp> so the documentation i followed for the homework is definitevely wrong. Hope somebody of the Acronis staff will fix it to save time to the users (it took me some hours of trials and errors to sort this out :( )
