Cannot Create Bootable Media with WinPe
Today attempt to post this message, will somebody please remove the spam block.
I do not know where I stand, I spent all day yesterday trying to create a Acronis TI Media Builder disk only to fail at every attempt. I spent considerable time searching forums etc. I wrote the story of my saga and tried to upload 4 files (3 Screen Captures and a System report), this attempt was destroyed by my request being determined to be span. I answered the span message but have heard nothing since. I now do not know whether my request for assistance was successful, hence I am trying again.
I did try every option, CD, USM and image files
The files were a System Report AcronisSystemReport.zip
3 screen captures.
My system is a notebook with XP-PRO-SP3
Acronis True Image 2011 and the Plus Pack were installed on the system, Acronis TrueImage 2015 was installed over the previous version.
The final Windows Automated Installation Kit file installed was:
vista_6000.16386.061101-2205-LRMAIK_EN.img downloaded from
http://www.microsoft.com/en-AU/download/details.aspx?id=10333
despite the name of the file the Microsoft site states it is suitable for XP-PRO-SP2
The creation would start and appear good but finally fail, any assistance would be appreciated.
My thoughts are that the previous install in particular the plus pack could be the problem.

I have searched KB926044 and found that there is a HotFix which you must request from Microsoft
I have now received the HotFix but Microsoft are very cautious about me installing the file

The hotfix is for the possibility that you use the WinPE to load and edit the Registry hive of Windows Vista or Server 2003. I don't think you will be or are dong that. So the hotfix then I do not believe will resolve your issue. Since you seem to have all the prerequisites then I have no idea what your issue may be. I suppose you could try the build again, possibly something went wrong the first time.
I have discovered that the HOTFIX is included with XP-SP3 the comment was applicable to XP-SP2
Also the file to install Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK) includes MSXML 6.0
Have I selected the correct file for Windows Automated Installation Kit (AIK)

The creation starts and tries to load something but I am not quick enough to see the progress

The Windows Vista AIK is not supported in the 2015 WinPE so you'll need to use the Windows 7 AIK instead. When I tested this on my Windows XP machine the 2015 WinPE was successfully, but would not boot on my 32 bit processor. Acronis only provided the 64 bit version of the True Image 2015 add on and it will only boot on a 64 bit capable processor. If you don't know the architecture of your processor, you can find this by following the steps below.
1. Click Start, click Run, type cmd in the Open box, and then press ENTER.
2. At the command prompt, type set, and then press ENTER.
3. Note the string that is displayed next to PROCESSOR_IDENTIFIER.

That "Spam Filter" is very aggressive.
The line I think you want is
PROCESSOR_IDENTIFIER=x86 Family 6 Model 15 Stepping 10, Genuine Intel
From my understanding that is a 32 Bit

I found that the "set" command isn't a reliable way to check the processor architecture in Windows XP. It returned the same result on a computer that I know has a 64 bit capable processor. You'll need to uninstall the unsupported Vista AIK and install the Windows 7 AIK. If your processor is only 32 bit you'll get a winload.exe error when you try to boot the WinPE.

If your duplicate posts are in regard to this issue being posted twice, please read the doc attachment in the early threads, YES it is duplicated but the scam filter and the lack of links to acknowledge and release the ban, together with once the scam filter had kicked in I had no idea of whether the first message had actually been accepted. I sent messages to all I could find at Acronis to release the ban.
Again as stated I worked very hard in the beta days of 2011 on the telephone every Sunday morning, having been a user from about 2006 and a virtual agent for TI, all that is now under consideration. I am now 78 and don't need the anguish.
