Cannot perform Incremental or Differential Backup Images
Everything was fine until updating to version 7119! Never had a failure to complete an Incremental backup! With the latest version, with any setting for Incremental or Differential, it creates only a FULL IMAGE. Here is what happens: 1. Created Full Backup Image successfully 80Gigs. 2. After software installs, selected "ad to existing image" and pointed to the Full Backup from step 1. Previous versions would then begin the process with a time of 8 minutes and 12gigs of Incremental Image. With this version, using the same process and external drives which always worked with previous versions, the program begins at 38 minutes, then 1 hour, then 2 hours. When finished, time has been the full 2 hours, with a full image completed at 93 Gigs (which is the total of the 1st full image + additional software). I also tried to create a Differential image, which does the same. Tried from the recovery CD, thumb version, F11 boot and finally the Windows environment. Any way in which I attempt to create an Incremental or Differential will only create a FULL IMAGE! This is after pointing the "as to existing" to the FULL IMAGE which is already within it's own folder. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, does not solve this problem. Changed out hard drive, and attempted to 4 different external drives (2 new), which all worked with the previous version. For some reason, the program does not see the full backup which it is being pointed to for the incremental image. I have been using Acronis for 5 years and never had a problem until now.
