Cannot restore or mount back up files

I have a full backup made (I think) using True Image Home 2009/10. My hard drive broke and I am now trying to restore and mount using TI 11 Home. I get the message that my .tib fles ar not archive files and when I try and mount, it says 'Acronis True Image Home backup archive file is corrupted.
If the backup is an image, you may try to restore data from it by mounting the image and restoring intact data.'

Can you help? Thanks.

Since TI 11 is older than 2009 it wouldn't be able to process a 2009 Image. If you do not have the install file for 2009 or 2010, the next best thing is to go to your Acronis account and re download the file so that you can install it.

Thank you so much for this. You wouldn't believe how such a simple (and with hindsight) obvious suggestion to this has made a big difference to my Christmas mood. This was exactly the problem, and all my files restored perfectly. Have a great one!
