Cannot save Options for backup tasks

I installed the Acronis trial 2012 to see if upgrading from my 2009 version is worth while. I see that a lot of things have changed, but there's one thing really bugging me: when I edit an existing task, choose for the (advanced) modifying options window I can change any setting I want, BUT I cannot save the settings. Pressing the OK button just preses the button and nothing happens (the dialog window should disappear). I can only CANCEL...

Anyone else has this problem?

I tried copying the tasks, recreate the tasks but the problem remains.

Any help appreciated!

Got the same problem. Already reported this (beside other issues) to SUPPORT.

If reopening the OPTIONS in an already created backup task you see totally different settings.
For example, if I want to backup Z:\ completely and reopen the OPTIONS (or SETTINGS, using the german version) C:\ is shown as source etc.

Second, the backup name in Windows Explorer is totally different from the given name in the task.

Third, harddrive/ partition backups get no date at the beginning of their name but a number at the end. (In folder backups this works automatically.) To find the last image for recovery is not amusing.

And so on.

This sucks.
