Cannot turn scheduling off
I keep setting Acronis 2015 to no schedule and every few weeks it turns itself backon. Anyone know how I can turn this off permanently?
Thanks Grover, but I DO NOT want to save it as a non scheduled event. I created a Daily event which has now changing on it's own to a Do Not Schedule event and therefore is no longer running.
And further note to all: I just tried once again to recreate a daily backup and the under Backup Scheme when I try to save the the scheme it tells me it already exists and doesn't give me the option to over write it. So somethings definitely up with the storage of settings and schemes.
Thanks - the interface seems to have changed since the instructions were created. I have tried to make backup a non scheduled task so we shall see......

The task edit settings should allow to change and save the settings to a new file with the same name but I discourage any use of the edit settings as rarely ever does the changes result in the changes expected.
There is also the task clone settings where you can clone a specific task to get your copy and then use the edit settings to create a new name and new destination for the cloned task. You need to avoid the use of the same task name and I avoid any use of the same folder name.
In my other posting to your questionsl, I suggest that you run the TI cleanup utility and perform the suggested edits to registry as suggested by the utility.
