Cannot turn of scheduling in True Image 2014 Premium
I just recently installed True Image 2014 Premium and am running Windows 8.1. I only prefer to do unscheduled full system disc backups. However, I just noticed that the hard disk I use for backups was getting filled due to scheduled backups that True Image was doing without my request. Even when I click on the "Do not Schedule" button, it never saves the setting and always reverts back to selected the next day for a full backup. This causes a lot of interrupted from things I do on my computer including video editing. I never experience this problem on previous versions. Also, it appears that the Acronis Nonstop Backup option is activated and I don't want it. The instructions in the user manual do not appear to work. I am seriously thinking about deinstalling the software as it is becoming a nuisance and I do not have much confidence in it being able to restore a system disc if I should require it. Please advise on how to fix this problem

I had the exact problem. No matter what I did, Acronis insisted on making automatic weekly backups. There is a problem with the program. I was finally forced to remove it from my computer and re-install 2012 which works great.

Jack,
Did you get your issues resolved?
After the task has been created, any subsequent backup of the same data uses the same backup task via the "backup now" option which is inside the task. This link shows the use of the Backup Now option.

Backup schemes can be set for automatic cleanup which can prevent the disk full error.
