cant backup email
ATIH 2011 build 6597 and Outlook 2010. I am trying to backup email and I get the following message:
Error 12/12/2010 6:18:26 AM Failed to back up file or folder
'Microsoft Outlook:/Profiles/Outlook/7A97B07DD60CF948BD09E1E5990E5A05/'.

Tag = 0x3A4FB2E0331C3BE8
Access denied. (0x580007)
Tag = 0x3B78A69017EB09FB: None
I have put in my credentials and when I go back later to edit them they are not there. I am not asked for credentials when I run it manually (non scheduled). Acronis say this issue is closed. Anyone else getting this problem?

thanks, I will look into your suggestions.
When I look at my first post again I can see that I did not make myself clear. Backing up email by any method does not work for me at all using Acronis TIH 2011. To complete the record, I am running Win 7 32 bit Pro.

Oh - Ok
I haven't had a total failure of any kind so I wouldn't know what might be causing that.
I will say that during the process of trying to figure out the best way to backup my email I at one point set up a completely manual system.
I went to the files & folders section and drilled down to all my pst files and just backed them up manually. I then set up a schedule for the manual pst backup. Finally I settled on the method I noted in my prior post.
Let us know if you solve the problem and what exactly was happening.

For a few years I have been backing up the folder that includes the PST file(s) in the same way that you have done. I also backup other Outlook related files, such as the Signature folders and other configuration folders. It would be very useful to have the "Email" backup working as it seems to include registry settings too.
