Can't get Restore to work

I can’t get Recovery to work with Acronis True Image Home 2009. I’ve backed up to a .tib file and think I have carried out all the recover steps including specifying destination and the file or folder content to be recovered. The task then appears as an unscheduled Custom Task in the Tasks and Event Log with Last Run Time shown as 12AM. This task seems to be dead as I can’t get the restore to happen by right-clicking Start and right-clicking Edit does nothing either. Nor did anything happen when I pressed Proceed at the Summary stage of the Restore Wizard.
What do I have to do?
