Can't move files. Inconsistent naming. Puzzling "Back up now" button.
I have installed True Image on a second XP Pro system partition, and several issues have come up that didn't occur on the other system partiton.
First, I went to move backup C.XP2.120314.1704.tib from H:\My backups\ to H:\, that is, out of a folder on partition H to the root of H. After clicking on Move, a Browse for Destination dialog box opened. It had "C" in the File name box. C was the name of the first TI backup listed on H. It's puzzling to me why there would be a box for "file name" given the purpose on my actions and since the dialog box is named "Browse for Destination." When I clicked on the H partition in the folder list, a message in red appeared at the bottom of the box saying "This file is currently in use by C3." So I deleted the C from the file name box and clicked on H again, and that's as far as I can go because the OK button is greyed out.
Second, I have created two full backups, C_XP1_120317_2341_.tib and C_XP1_120318_1549_.tib, and each is split into two files. They are shown in TI as C_XP1_120317_2341_ and C_XP1_120318_1549_. Backups I made previously using TI on the other system partition were all listed in this manner: C_XP2_120317_1005_3, which is the name of the last file it was split into. Why isn't this same pattern followed with the two most recent backups? Could it be related to the fact that there is a "Back up now" button on the right side of the listing for each of those two backups? It appears to me that TI is saying the jobs haven't run yet.
