Can't restore to sata harddrive Help please

I'm running trueimage11
Asus p5q
qx7600
Asus silenth nvidia drivers 7600gs
sata drives

I have had problems several times to restore discimage systembackup on xp home, proffessional, xp64, now I'm onto win7. I haven't installed true image yet.
Should I bother to install it at all?
Before: My bootable cd shows up and find my external usb-drive where the image is. everything seems to be fine until what harddrives to backup to. Can't find any harddrives.
Whats wrong and what can I do?
Would it be better to make a acronis safe zone or what it's called?

I can't find any iso images to download. I only find two plugins on my download page.
