Can't sign in
This is getting to be a VERY frustrating program to use! I can sign in to Acronis Cloud just fine using any web browser, but using ATI2016 which I just purchased today, and already regretting it, I keep getting "An error occurred while signing in. Please try again later."
I have disabled Zonealarm Pro which is installed, and have Windows firewall off and get the same results. I've tried changing passwords, creating different accounts...nothing. I've been using TI since version 7 and this program just gets more frustrating and sluggish and less user friendly with every new version.

Exact same problem for me with different computers. Same error in the 2016 version. It keeps getting less and less user friendly. My firewall is Comodo. They sent me over to them to get assistance with the port and hostnames, but I did not get any assistance there either. I finally figured out how to configure the filters on my own, but they still do not work.
It used to be so simple to sync and log into the account.

I was finally able to access the cloud from within the ATI2016 by turning off the firewall on my Comcast cable-modem, however this leaves my entire home network exposed to the internet...not good. Something about this program is not working well with firewalls. I'm not computer savvy enough to figure out exactly what's going on, but this program should not be this difficult to use. I have wasted HOURS trying to get this program to work the way it's supposed to and if I didn't already pay for it, and for use of the "cloud" for another year, I would go elsewhere and never buy another product from this company again.

I purchased ATI2016 yesterday (12 Nov 15) and it worked fine all day backing up nearly 10GB to the Acronis Cloud.
Today when I launched the application it asked me to sign in and all I get is "An error occurred while signing in. Please try again later." This is not very helpful. Talk up thread is about firewalls, but nothing has changed my end since yesterday when it all worked. Is this login failure a common problem?
Do I just keep trying? Any help welcome.

i have uploaded my pc to the cloud and now can't sign in. is there a fix for this yet?

If anyone using Acronis Cloud is unable to sign in, please contact Acronis Support to get the issue resolved. What you can do on your own to troubleshoot the issue is to verify if all the required ports are opened: see https://kb.acronis.com/content/4350 for details.

I'm having the same problem, continuously rejecting login. The fact that this software is so huge, bloated...and doesn't just work, is inexcusable. Trash. Time to try some freeware.

Phil, welcome to these User Forums.
What are you trying to sign in to? If you have an Acronis Cloud subscription then open a Support Case with Acronis to resolve this problem.

For all users who get the following alert when attempting to sign in: " An error occurred while signing in. Please try again later.", follow these troubleshooting steps: https://kb.acronis.com/content/57042,
I could resolve the issue by removing the "acronis" lines in host file in Windows, as described in this article: https://kb.acronis.com/content/58714#hosts
