Change temp directory TIH 2010?

Thread needs solution

I've been using TIH2010 on a Win 7x64 system fine for five months. I recently reorganized some archives and decided to create a new backup task from scratch. It's around 600GB of data to a 2 terabyte drive. But when I did, I got this after about an hour:

Details: Error occurred while reading the file. (0x40001)
Tag = 0x61F1883FE50B0B0C
Failed to read the snapshot. (0x10C45A)
Tag = 0x14181C22EF45AD2E
Not enough storage is available to process this command (0xFFF0)
code = 80070008)
Tag = 0xBD28FDBD64EDB8B9

From what I've found in the KB and these forums, this can be around half a dozen things. I have 150GB free on my system disk, which I assume is where TIH makes its temp directory. Does the home of the temp file need to have as much free space as the size of the backup file?! I don't have more than 150GB free on any of my drives other than the backup destination drive.

I saw in KB 8032 that one Acronis program had a registry variable you could alter to increase the percentage of the temp partition's free space it could use, but that variable doesn't seem to exist for TIH2010. Is there a way to do this? Or is it unlikely to be a free space issue at all? Thanks.

Hello M. Green,

Thank you for posting. I will do my best to help you with this issue.

To be honest this error message could be caused by multiple things. Usually in such situations we ask to update the Acronis low-level drivers, you can find the download link for the latest version here (586).
