Changed motherboard, Acronis demanding re-activation

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I changed the motherboard in my computer and now Acronis is demanding re-activation.  Online activation is not working for some reason and the offline activation does not offer the option to activate for the same computer.  What can I do to get Acronis working again?

Vinne, welcome to these user forums.

If you have changed your motherboard, then as far as ATIH knows, this is a new / different computer and will require to be reactivated and probably your license moved from the old motherboard to this one.  The same would apply to Windows unless you happen to have a full boxed version.  Many applications base activation of motherboard components.

You will need to contact Acronis Support directly for help if you are unable to activate your product as we have no access to the systems involved in these user forums.
