clone operation not working

Thread needs solution

I just installed full version and when I select target and source SSD (same mfg and same size), a screen show up to restart.....after restart, I get a small windows in upper left corner on my screen saying: UEFI runtime error ...unable to fine a ....(large name) file....and when system boot back to Win8 OS, nothing happens. My source SSD is GPT and target SSD is formatted with NTFS....not sure if this makes any difference.....Any idea what's going on???

Please read through this link and follow the recommended procedures. That should fix your problems.

Thanks for the pointer but I tried these steps several time and still not working after reboot. Should I see a screen pup-up after reboot conforming the operation in progress or will this happen in the background? After reboot, I don't see anything on screen and don't see the SSD drive light indicting copy in progress.

BTW, here is the full screen shot of the error
starting Arconis UEFI loader
runtime error
Error 0x10d002: failed to find line info: 0xec492506f42e4db.

Same problem with bootwiz_efi64

Problem with UEFI bios and Acronis ?

Br

same problem, I posted a new topic with screengrabs since there hasnt been a followup to this thread.

PLEASE REPLY ASAP GUYS THANKS!

Hello Steve,

please check if you Acronis Linux-based bootable media is able to start on your hardware. If it is not, it means that cloning of a system disk started in Windows won't work either. Please contact our support team for investigation.

As a workaround in the meanwhile you can use a WinPE-based bootable media.

Thank you.
