On Dell Systems, this indicate that the BIOS cannot find a specific partition necessary for booting.

If you clone your drive, make sure you put the original disk in an USB enclosure, the new drive at its final place. Boot the computer on the Acronis recovery CD and clone in manual mode. If you clone to a disk of different size, do not change the size of any partition except the C:\ partition or any other user created partition.

If you have done a disk and partition backup, make sure you have included all partitions in the backup. When you restore, boot the computer on the ACronis recovery for the restore operation. If you restore to a disk of a different size, you need to restore one partition at a time, in the same order they were before. Do not resize any partition except the C:\ partition or any other user created partition. Don't forget to mark the right partition active.

Remember that the recovery CD will show you drive letters different from Windows. Be careful when you select your disks.
