Cloning Issues
Hi there,
I'm trying to clone a laptop hard disk of mine to a new hard drive with ATIH 12, and I am having a few issues. I tried to clone the hard disk to a new hard disk (connect via a USB adapter) with an ATIH bootable media cd and it wouldn't let me select the new hard disk as a destination drive. Easy enough, I switched the hard disks in an attempt to reverse clone it, but now ATIH can't see the hard disk attached to the USB adapter (the source in this case).
Any help would be much appreciated, and it should be noted I am not the most tech savvy person out there, so if instructions could be broken down so it's easy for me to understand, that would be great.
Thanks!

Try using a different usb connector--preferably on the back if a desktop. Do not use a hub. If you have a different cable, try a different cable.
I've already tried this...
Have you computers turned on first before booting. If that does not work, then turn on the disks during the bootup.
Not quite sure what you mean by having the computers turned on before booting. :/

I was referring to the external disk.
If you boot from the CD and use the ADD Disk option, does all the disk appear when viewing the disks via the ADD Disk option?
In the tools and utilities menu, there is an option to see "current state of disks". Does all the disks appear here?
