complete save done but statement protection red

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I've made a completed copy of my harddisk system C to an external disk.
But when I'm looking after the statement of my protection I've a red point with the mention System save not done.
I'm working with Acronis True Image Home 2009.
My OS is Vista
Thanks for your help and my apology for my bad english but I'm from Belgium.

Boot from the TrueImage Rescue CD and perform an additional backup. Be sure you choose the validation option as part of the backup options.

I am not sure the cause of your issue but performing the backup using he CD will take Windows out of the equation.

Pierre,
Be sure and backup your entire disk so you include all partitions. If you have a boot disk as shown below, you want to include it within your backups.

Hi GroverH,

Thanks for your informations.
On my hard disk I've a disk C: with the program and the documents and a disk D: with a "recuperation system" from HP.
I've made the backup of the two.
Now I've made a verification of the backup and I've find all my files and in addition a file named "Boot" and a IO.sys and MSDOS.sys.
So I think that this backup is complete.
Now when in Acronis, I'm going to the statement of the security of my PC, I don't see anymore the red point and they say that I'm protected.

Perhaps a new question : when I started Acronis I've at each time a message from the Control of user acount who say "This program need my autorisation for to continue". Is that normal or is it a solution ?
