compressed Image size??

Thread needs solution

I have a 1TB drive containing 140GB of data. If Acronis images the full partition, approximately what size is the resulting image file?

Normal compression level would usually be around 60%-70% of used space. It's the used space that matters, not the total size of the drive.

However, it will vary because some file types are more compressable than others. For example, word processing docs are quite compressable, but MP3 files and compressed lossless audio files such as FLAC are already compressed, so they won't compress further.

I knew this of the Disk Image process but nothing was mentioned in the docs concerning the Partition Image.

Thank you for the info.
