Constant corrupt backups after customizing cluster size with Disk Director
I've been troubleshooting this for days, and did a search, so forgive me if this has already been covered.
First I am using build number 16.0.6514 Full Version of True Image, and changed the cluster scheme with Disk Director 11. I have consistently corrupt backups, and don't think it is possible for anyone to be able to help without knowing more about my hardware/raid configuration/partition cluster sizes.
Hardware:
2 1TB hardrives, one is Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM, and the other is a WD 7200 RPM
1 Intel 520 SSD 120 GB
Gigabyte mobo Z77M-D3H-MVP Revision 1(has intel z77 chipset)
OS:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Bios:
Set to Raid configuration to accelerate the C drive with a 40 GB partition on the SSD.
Partition Scheme:
1TB Seagate HDD-
200 GB primary active partition, NTFS 64 kybte cluster size, accelerated with 40GB SSD partition that is automatically set to 128 kbyte.
600 GB logical partition NTFS 64 kbyte cluster size for media storage and very large files
1 TB WD HDD-
450 GB primary active partition (windows made the partition active automatically during installation, not sure why), NTFS 4 kbyte cluster size for document and program storage
490 GB primary partition NTFS 4 kbytes for system and file backup, with Acronis secure zone within it.
120 GB Intel 520 SSD-
40 GB (automatically set to 128 kbyte cluster size) for acceleration of C: partition on Seagate HDD
55 GB (automatically set to 128 kbytes cluster size by Intel Rapid Response Technology) for game storage.
16 GB primary hibernation partition for Intel Rapid Start Technology
Every backup is corrupt, whether I backup up in windows or acronis recovery, whether I only backup the drives independently, full, incremental, sector by sector, etc.
What I've done to trouble shoot:
1. I have tested both all hard drives in dos with check disk and Seatools for dos, and they all check out.
2. I have checked the memory, no errors were found.
3. I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled Acronis build 16.0.6514 Full Version of True Image, including
the recovery manager.
4. I have reset all my OC settings in the bios to stock.
5. Reflashed the BIOS.
6. Tried to backup partitions to other partitions of the same cluster size.
7. Tried to back up C: drive with SSD acceleration in maximized mode after sync, in enhanced mode, and with
SSD acceleration completely disabled.
8. Tried to backup after using the system file checker tool ( sfc /scannow ).
9. Tried to backup to only the Acronis Secure Zone.
10. Tried to backup to another HDD I added to my system (which was also tested and passed with check disk
and Seatools for dos).
11. Reinstall OS, wash, rinse, repeat...
Any suggestions?
