D-Sub Out of range

Hi,
I am using ATIH 2009, 2011, 2012 and when booting from the cd to make backups or recovery on certain PCs, the monitor is giving me a ‘D-Sub Out of range’ message after clicking ATIH from the menu and cannot see or do anything. I am on a brand new 22inch LG LED Widescreen Monitor (Model E2250V and E2251VR). I cannot remember all the motherboard chipsets this has happened on, but the last one I remember had a pretty old SIS 650 chipset using integrated graphics. Is this a compatibility issue? Any help how to fix this?
