Daily backup fails probably because TIH can't identify at NAS

Thread needs solution

I have configured a daily automatic backup job to backup the whole system to a Synology DiskStation NAS. More often than not it fails, sending me the error message below via e-mail. Sometimes it DOES work though (like every 5th day or so), leaving me wondering what might be wrong.

I have three licenses of TIH2011, two of them run on Windows XP, backing up to the NAS without problem. One license is installed on Windows Vista though, and this is the one causing the trouble.

I bought the German version of the software, but I cannot find any dedicated German Acronis support. So I have to post my question here, although the error log is in German. Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Some folks have suspected it's a problem with too short a timeout before ATI decides there is an error with trying to open a file. The timeout is something that could vary, depending on total network traffic.

some of us have a prob reading from a network location at all with ATI2011 that didn'thappen in prior versions. Maybe a time out porblem, maybe a credential issue, maybe something else. . .it's too early in ati2011's life to tell.
