Does anyone at Acronis care???

Thread needs solution

After spending hours on the phone because TI 2009 would not install (there are other messages on here) I was promoted to level 2.

Ok the guy gay me clues as what to delete in the Registry and eventually I got TI 2009 installed.

Now I can't explore any backups and nobody seems to care. To me it is serious.

What is the problem with Acronis, their lack of help and the obvious serious problems with both the uninstall and install programs.

There's over 4000 messages on this forum - I would have thought that Acronis's progammers would have got involved by now. There's too many problems with this software that has not been resolved.

Already they have beta TI 2010 ?????????  Is this just to get cash and not worry about customer satisfaction with problems trying to get their software running.

Yes I've been a cusomer for a long time using V10 and 11 with no problems.

Hello Edwin,

Thank you for using Acronis Products

Make sure that Acronis True Image Backup Archive Explorer is Enabled in Device Manager (Right-click on MY Computer -> Properties -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> Unfold Acronis Devices -> Right-click on Acronis Devices -> Select Acronis True Image Backup Archive Explorer -> Choose Enabled).

Also make sure that TimounterMonitor.exe process launched (ctrl+alt+del -> task manager -> processes). TimounterMonitor.exe process monitors the mounted images and constantly checks if there is enough space on the storage to save all the changes made to the sectors of the mounted image.

Make sure that the hard drive doesn’t have file system errors or bad blocks. Do the following to check the disks for errors:

- Go to the Command Prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd)

- Enter the command: "chkdsk DISK: /r" (where DISK is the partition letter you need to check) for every partition that is visible in My Computer. Please note, that checking the C: drive may require you to reboot the machine.
