Drive changed Now Acronis Can't Backup "Error Drive I:/ in inaccessible."
Greetings,
When I created a new backup recently, the drive was assigned the letter I:
When I had to remove and replace the external drive, file explorer now has it listed as drive F:
Now ATI can't find the drive and offers no suggestion to make it right. Clicking on "Change Destination" does nothing.
Is there a way to correct this without deleting the backup and constructing a new one? That would leave an old backup on that drive that has to been dealt with. Also, the prospect of deleting/making a new backup every time this happens is not something I want to do.
Thanks for the assistance.

Greetings Steve. thanks so much for responding. Just one question:
In your answer above, the paragraph:
Next, use the 'Add existing backup' option to bring back the task by selecting the latest backup file from the new drive letter location. Note: the task will still need to be reconfigured when doing this, i.e. setting the Source and other Options.
Does this step refer only to option 3 or to options 1 and 2?
Thanks again,
Frank

Frank, yes the paragraph only applies to option 3.
Step 1 is needed to free any used drive letter(s).
Step 2 is to correct the incorrect drive letter by reassigning the correct letter to the backup drive.
Step 3 is if you want to assign a new drive letter to the backup drive that is not going to suffer from the same issue in the future, along with the further steps that would be needed by doing this.
