Drive Cleanser Seriously Slow

I've just purchased ATI 2011 Plus. I like to run my Acronis from the bootable CD. The problem I've got is that I set the drive cleanser to wipe a 250gb usb hdd. By my estimates its going to take five days to complete. This is seriously slow in my opinion. Is there any known issues? The 2010 version would wipe the drive in around 14 hours.

I'm having the same problem with the ATI home 2010 version using Windows 7. My attemp to cleanse a Toshiba 1TB external usb hard drive is going into its 3rd day. When I went to bed last night the progress report indicated 15 hours and after waking up it was 25 days (yes days) remaining. I'm just letting it run for the rest of the day just because I'm curious to see if it finishes after the current 5 days remaining status. This is really screwed up and suggests that this tool was not properly tested.

Recently I discovered that there are 2 wipertool.exe processes running. Is this correct?
