Thread needs solution

Questions:

1. Does "Acronis - True Image 2010" support Drobo Drives ?

2. If above is yes:
......... Which Recovery CD, Linux Recovery CD or WinPE Recovery CD supports restoring from a "Drobo Drive ?

Hello JosephB,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis True Image Home 2010.

Let me help you.

Unfortunately, I can't tell you for sure if Drobo drives are supported in Acronis True Image 2010.

However, you can download the trial version of the software and check it out.

The functional limitation of Acronis True Image trial version is that you can only restore and validate an image when you run the program from the bootable media. Windows version is functional for 15 days only and it does not have any more limitations.

Please reply to this thread if you need any further assistance.

Thank you.

I have a Drobo S backup system connected to my two desktop computers. The main computer has Acronis Home Image 2010 Plus Pack the other has Drobo Home Image 2010. I have been backing up the two computers using incremental backup. However when I check what is being recorded on the Drobo I get the following:
Root Directrory has DroboApps folder which contains the backup image of my main computer made by Acronis. However the other computer has the image residing directly on the root directory (i.e. not sitting in the Drobo Apps folder.
Does anyone know if this is a proper backup configuration?

Thanks
