Duplicate backup

Thread needs solution

I am using True Image 2015 and when looking at the contents of my external drive (target backup drive) I see that there are 2 identical backups of the same drive going on the same days.  The two backups are fine and have different names but I would like to canel(stop) one of them.  How do I do it would stopping the entire backup process or having to start all over again. Is there a way to select just one of them and say cancel?

Please download a copy of the Acronis Scheduler Manager utility and use this to see a list of all of your scheduled tasks that could be creating the duplicate backups on your external drive.

To use this utility program, Run it as Administrator, then issue the Get list command in the new ASM command window that opens.  This will give you a listing of all scheduled tasks where each one has a Script identifier which can be matched against your backup task script names in the C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts folder - the script files are XML text documents and can be opened with Notepad to see the contents and identify the task.
Note: The Scripts folder may be hidden on some systems - change the Explorer View options to show hidden files & folders if you do not see this folder or the ProgramData initial folder.

When you have identified the duplicate task, you can then stop the scheduled entry for that by using the task identifier, i.e. 1-1 or 1-2 etc as shown in the Get list output.  Here you would issue the following commands:

task 1-1

task delete
