Dynamic disks and plus boot disk observations
I played around with the Acronis 2012 True Image Plus boot disk this evening on a Dell Vostro 220 running Windows 2003 Server R2 32bit. The initial Windows 2003 install was done using Intel's AHCI drivers, so the BIOS is set to AHCI and not to ATA. Test SATA drives were 160 GB and 320 GB. Here is what I learned.
Convert dynamic to basic
Backup with true image plus, then restore. The new drive will be basic.
Resize system partition
Must be basic. Clone to new drive and set partition sizes manually. I had no problem going smaller or larger on the system partition.
Cloning
You can not clone a dynamic drive

Thank you Anton, but I'm not having any problems. This was just a test system that I put together to see how 2012 True Image Plus would react to Dynamic Disks. I'm not even sure that True Image is certified to work with Windows Server 2003. The system is back to a Windows 7 machine so I can not provide you with the report you requested.
After posting the original message, I should have shared that my Dynamic Disks were configured in the simplist of form. No RAID, no mirroring, no expanded volumes.
BTW, I am very pleased with the test results.
EDIT: I ran the system report that you requested and it is located at

This is with the test Vostro 220 configured with BASIC disks
