A small info box appears at the bottom of the screen..."Operation paused 1:08. The specified file path does not exist operation willfail in 10 minutes"

This happens when I haen't opened my Acronis program?  What is wrong?

Kenneth, the message suggests that you have a scheduled task which has tried to run but hit a problem.  Scheduled tasks do not require the main Acronis program to be open in order to run.

I would check the log files for the date / time of the error message to try to determine what file path wasn't found that caused the error to be given.  The log files can be found in C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Logs (which may be hidden on some systems) and are in an XML text format that can be opened in any standard text editor - look for logs with the name system_ .

 

Thanks for the help, Steve.  The system had a weekly seting for back up.  I removed that by changing to no advanced settings.  I want to run back ups at my convenience.

Ken, I would recommend creating a new non-scheduled backup task with the same settings as your original task and deleting the one that you changed to ensure that no remnant of the scheduled task is retained.
