Errors while right clicking on Desktop

Thread needs solution

I bought this in December of 2013 and have not been able to use it yet. I've un-installed and re-installed several times only to get the same problems.

When installed, I cannot right click on anything od the desktop. When I do, I get "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and must shut down". I clock "OK" and I then get "Dr Watson Postmortem Debugger has encountered a problem and must shut down". I again have to click "OK" and sometimes the computer totally locks up and I have to do a hard shutdown or many of my items dissappear from the System Tray and the computer works. At least until I have to right click on something again.

I'm running Windows XP Pro with all the Service Packs and totally upto date with all the security updates from Microsoft..

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

SOLVED....

While searching the pages here I was able to find a solution.. It was the same one I used to use but I was hoping Acronis would solve it so I never used it again..

I used a program called ShellExView and shut down all the Acronis items it listed and my right click works fine.. I wish Acronis could actually find what causes it and put it in an update...
