Event code: 0x0004000A+0x0000FFF0+0x80070035

Thread needs solution

I’m having a problem with both disk & file backups whereby when it’s time to create a new full backup the size is significantly smaller than the previous backup (no significant file changes account for the difference) i.e the original file is in excess of 104Gb but the completed new full backup is 59Gb. Reviewing the log shows errors creating the file (Event code: 0x0004000A+0x0000FFF0+0x80070035) there’s no information on this event code on the knowledge base so I’m unsure what’s causing the problem.

On each occasion I’ve had this problem I’ve manually run the backup and it successfully completes the operation and produces a full backup of the expected size with no problems reported albeit that rather than commence a new naming convention it appends -2 to the original file name i.e first defective backup was “My partitions_full_b6_s1_v1,tib” the subsequent manually run backup “My partitions_full_b6_s1_v1-2,tib”

I'm running True Image 2013 build 5551 on a Win8 2.80GHz i7 64 bit PC with 8 Gb ram.

Any help would be appreciated.

The weird naming indicates that ATI's database is corrupted. Delete the task and creates a new one.

Thanks for that Pat

I've now done this on 3 separate tasks they run for so long then go haywire for no apparent reason. If you look at the attached screen dump of the Microsoft office task version chain the highlighted incremental backup 16/01 should have been Microsoft_Office_inc_b1_s7_v1.tib and the following one would then have been a full backup but the naming convention from this point onwards is out of sync.

Likewise the incremental file task Media which I had to delete and start all over again, as you can see curiously on the same date the naming convention has gone haywire. since purchasing the True Image 7 Dec 2012 I've yet to successfully complete any of the tasks, each time having to delete the task and start a fresh one. I'm really at a loss to discover the cause of the problem, any help would be really appreciated.
