Exactly what is "bootable media" in TI2009 9809 upgrade
On the upgrade page, for the 9809 build, there's now an extra tab, labeled "Bootable Media", which appears to be an iso image.
Is this different from the iso image that can be built, once TI2009 is installed, either with, or without the Safe Media plugin, and if so, in what way.
Cheers.

On the upgrade page for Acronis True Image 10.0 Home Upgrade there is NO extra tab labeled "Bootable Media" My PC has suddenly lost the ability to Boot from my Acronis Boot CD and I need to restore an image. I have sent 4 emails to customer support requesting help and info on how to access/download the ISO for the newest Boot Program. I have received NO RESPONSE and I need HELP now. Please advise as I have been waiting WEEKS for Help.
Thanks,
Nick

Have you downloaded the SAFE media option that is available from the Plugins tab?
When you say 'has suddenly lost ther ability' does this mean that at one time the rescue CD did work on your machine?

Nicholas, can the PC boot from any other bootable cd/dvd, like the windows dvd?

Yes: I the Windows XP install dvd will boot. My PC never had a problem booting from the CD until recently.
There is NO "Plugins tab?" on the "My Products & Downloads" page. The only tabs showing are: "Latest Build" "Support" and "Upgrades" tabs. and no "Bootable Media" tag. Can someone send me a link please.

Well, it sounds as though your boot CD got corrupted. Make another one and see if that new one will boot.

I'm tried that. That is why I'm looking for the updated boot file.

But if the boot CD has worked in the past and is not working now, then perhaps we need to look at either the CD (which you've already done) or maybe the actual drive itself.
Have you tried the CD in another computer?

Just had a look at my registered products pages (owned TI since TI 7) and I have no bootable media tab either listed on my TI 7 tab or TI 8 or TI9 or T10. I have the tab on TI 2009 and 2010
I think it started being offered with ATI 11 or 2009 as I have it on my 2009 tab. I never got ATI 11.

Hello all,
We are sorry for the delayed response.
No worries, I will help you to resolve all your queries concerning our products.
1. Bootable media in ISO format is available from your account for Acronis True Image Home 2010, and Acronis True Image 2009 Home versions only. If you're using older version, please feel free to contact us for the ISO file (do not forget to register Acronis software so we can check your serial number). You can also write a PM to any moderator on this forum - we would be glad to assist you.
2. Regarding the difference between those CD's (the one created from installed version of our product vs ISO file downloaded from your account): they are based on different loaders, which are responsible for loading kernel and some components.
ISOLINUX Bootable Media is usually more up to date than the Acronis Loader one. This is due to the fact a new version of Acronis Bootable Media is uploaded to the website more frequently than regular product updates are released.
ISOLINUX Bootable Media has several boot parameters that may help overcome possible issues with booting. You can also set a specific VGA resolution in the ISOLINUX media if there an issue with the Graphical User Interface (GUI).
The full information is available in this article.
Nicholas, I have sent you the ISO file via PM, please test it and check whether it works. If you are not familiar with the ISO burning please take a look at this article.
Tatou, your comment regarding versions are correct. If you need any ISO for your registered products - please PM me.
Additionally to this, you are welcome to ask me any other questions concerning Acronis, and I will assist you further.
Best regards,

Try uninstalling True Image, reinstalling true image, make a new boot disk and see if that works. It did for me.
