Ext4 Support

Thread needs solution

Fedora 11 defaults to ext4. Ubuntu 9.10 (I believe) now defaults to ext4. RedHat 5.4 and CentOS 5.4 directly support ext4 partitions.

When will TrueImage support ext4? (Seems like you're behind the power curve. There's been plenty of time.)

Agreed. And we can add Open Suse 11.2 to your list. I sincerely hope that DD and TI will add Ext4 support very soon. It must be a high priority, as most recent Linux systems now default to it. I gather that Acronis have promised that TI2010 will soon include this, but both products need to do so.

I realiced the support in an other way.
I have made a Virtual machine with VirtualBox. There I instaled a WinXP.
Out of this I can share folders of Ubuntu etc. Thats no problem.

In this way it is possible to make the backup of (at least) the files.

To recover you can do also with the live CD of Acronis.
