Failed to back up file or folder '\\192.....\HPE_wk_file_backup_inc_b1_s3_v1.tib'

Thread needs solution

In running backups, I'm receiving the following message, which I find puzzling:

"Failed to back up file or folder '\\192.168.1.3\HPE_backup\HPE_wk_file_backup\HPE_wk_file_backup_inc_b1_s3_v1.tib'"

Now... let me explain why is this puzzling... Because the file noted in the message is actually the file being CREATED by True Image 2013 during the backup operation. The backup file "HPE_wk_file_backup_inc_b1_s3_v1.tib" WAS created, has the proper date and seems to be the expected size.

The issues error code listed in the True Image event log is "0x00040019". Searching at "http://kb.acronis.com/errorcode" results in a message indicating that this code isn't documented there.

I have NO pre/post commands established on this backup process and I'm NOT asking for a backup reserve copy.

I have error handling set to "silent mode" (do not show messages and dialogs while processing), but this situation nonetheless shows a dialogue window and the backup process does not complete until I hit the "ignore" button. The backup is subsequently show to have completed successfully in the True Image event log.

Any ideas about WHAT this message means? Or how I should troubleshoot?

Is there any chance the target backup folder storage location is being included in the items to be included within the backup?

I have not seen this text error message before here.

Otherwise, I would create a new backup task pointing to a new storage folder sub-folder location.
You might also want to check for any file errors.
From a command prompt
CHKDSK X: /F (where x is the drive letter being checked)
