" Failed to open archive" error in Acronis 2012

Receiving this error message when trying to run scheduled backup. Using Acronis 2012 Home True Image
"Failed to open archive"
Event code: Event code: 0x01EF0013+0x000B041D+0x00040011+0x0000FFF0+0x80070002
Another error message that displays is, not word per word. " Unable to find or open volume 73"
A separate question
This PC is a standalone pc, not connected to a network or the internet.
Can I update the installation to the latest 2012 version without having to be online to install said install.
I have downloaded the latest version, and will have it on a usb stick.
