Forcing a new Full backup

Thread needs solution

I am a new user of TI 2014 and have scheduled a number of backups to cover different libraries at different time of day.
All backups were configured as Incremental without a full version every so often - which is fine for the way I work.
But having recently made some significant changes to one of my libraries, I am looking for a way to force a new backup chain by kicking off another full backup.
Is there a way to configue TI2014 to do this?

In simple terms I want to do full plus incremental backups for as long as I want, then fire up a new chain when I deem it appropriate.

Thanks
Dave

TrueImage doesn't offer an exact feature to do that. The closest thing you could do would be to rename the existing storage folder containing the tib backup files to a new name , and recreate a new empty folder with the same original name. The program will begin the process all over with a full backup when it finds the old target folder empty.

---------------------------------------
If the above not acceptacle, then option 2 would be

You would need to stop using the existing chain (change to non-scheduled, is one option) and begin a new backup task with with a new name and new storage folder.

You can use the clone task option and then edit the cloned task to change the old name and folder to a new task name, a new tib name, and a new storage name. New task could be scheduled or non-scheduled.

-------------------------------------------------
or option 3 would be to use the Chain2Gen helper program to do basically the same as option 1.

Or, should you have a backups from multiple tasks in same storage folder (not my recommendation), you could move all the tib files on the finished chain to another folder. The point is the storage folder must not contian any bacups from the task which you want to restart with a full.
