Getting email notifications of successful BU, but updated date is not updated

Thread needs solution

TI 2011. I have email backups to run once a month. I do get email notifications that the BU was run successfully every month, however, the 'upated ' date under 'explore & recover' hasn't changed in months ( last date shown is 2/15/13). All other backup's dates change accordingly to match the date of the most recent backup.
Please advise how to have the updated date show correctly.

Thanks,

Steve Mc

Steve,
This is an issue reported previiously and fixed in newer releases. Am not aware of any fixes coming for the 2011 version.
If not using the last build for 2011 (build 6942), you might consider updating to that build or newer versions.

Thanks.

Yes, I am altready on build 6942, so it sounds as though the only way to correct it is to upgrade a Ver. 2014 ?

Or perhaps a 2012 ? or 2013 ? Is that possible., and if so , how much ?

Thanks,

If you are basically satisfied with 2011, then download a fresh copy of the install program and do another install overthe top of the existing. Start the install and you will be provided with a repair option and that may fix your issue--who knows.

Otherwise,

you can check the Acronis website for pricing of an upgrade. An upgrade requires the entry of both 2011 and 2014 serials.

One option would be to sign up for the trial version of 2014. You would need to
uninstall 2011,
run the cleanup utility
install 2014 trial.

Do some backups and see if the issue you have is gone in the 2014 version.
If yes, then you can buy. If no, you can either restore a 2011 backup or uninstall 2014 trial.
YOu can only have one version installed at the same time.

Thank you very much. I'll probably look into those options.

Another question though, and I don't totally understand my settings, but...
I have the email Version Chain scheme for full & incrementals BUs to delete anything older than 1 month. At explore, it does show that the only backup that is available is the most recent one ( Sept 8) , so it appears that it is working correctly. I even verified the date of the backup file via Windows Explorer, and it does match the Sept 8 date. So if the only thing wrong is the most recent updated date showing in the main screen, I could live with that.
Or perhaps how would I keep at least 2 months of backups ?

Thanks,
Steve
