Gigabyte Brix Pro

Thread needs solution

Hello everybody.
I'm using Acronis for many years now, business and home products.
I recently bought for myself one of those microcomputers Gigabyte Brix Pro.
http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4888#ov
I tried twice to install Acronis True Image 2014 licensed and didn't work after that.
Installation and registration go well but explorer freezes after 1st reboot. No app is opening or opens and that's it.You're stuck. It happens after 1-2 min after reboot. Within this period you can do things normally.
I checked the event viewers and Google and I couldn't find anything specific to Acronis in this regard.
If you uninstall in that 2 min period everything goes back to normal. It is not related to any other 3rd party app because it was none. Bare naked OS and Acronis.
It must be hardware related but please feel free and try an idea or a possible reason.
I'd love continuing to use Acronis.
Thank you.

Well, I would say that the TI app may not fully support the mSATA drive you used in the device. Could be the fact that the drive is accessed by PCIe for example. Having no experience with the device myself it is difficult to know exactly. Could also be a driver issue I suppose. Could be a flaky memory module as well.

I would suggest you uninstall TI, update all drivers for the device by visiting the Gigabyte support site, then reinstall TI and see what happens. I think this would be the best way to start in attempting to find out what the issue is.

I did that Enchantech. All drivers are up to date. I don't have an mSATA drive but 2.5 SSD drive.
I'm going to try one more time and again check the logs. The system crashes after 2 min so it is hard to monitor anything.
I'll report back.

Please include more system specs, make and model of drive, make, model, specs of RAM, how is SSD connected to machine? The more info you provide the better.
