Got "Failed to open backup" error

Thread needs solution

I got this error when creating a regular monthly full C-drive backup to an external Seagate drive.:
"Failed to open backup J:\My backups\Carole-C Drive\My_partitions_full_b2_s1_v1.tib. Make sure the backup location is accessible and contains all versions of the backup. This backup may also be corrupted."

I deleted the file and tried this against several time. It always gets about 90% complete before the error. There is plenty of space on the backup drive (about 2.6 times what is needed).

I then ran a verify on the last failed backup and verify said the backup[ id good!!

What does this all mean. Is the backup good or not?

Are you trying to do a validation after the backup automatically?

I ran the Validation from then Acronis menu selections after the backup completed.

Can you post a screenshot of the directory containing the backup files?
