Have TI not look for backups when starting up?

Thread needs solution

Is there a way to tell True Image Home 2011 to not look for backups when starting up? I use TI only to create full standalone backup archives for full system restore purposes – no incrementality goin' on here. When the program opens it searches for attached external drives for .tib files so it can re-create its special list of available full image backups, but that process can hang for at least a whole minute while it searches for files – files that may now be on a different drive letter than when created – or even a different drive if I copy them to a secondary backup USB drive for redundancy purposes. Can this behavior be stopped? Maybe a Registry hack? - I'm a geek - I can handle the registry...

ATi does it once upon installation, but will restart if interrupted. I know this is a pain. When I do a clean install, I hide my TIB, ZIP and VHD files in a hidden folder, and disconnect the backup disk. That doesn't prevent the search, but it shortens it.
