Help Please ATI 2013
I am using True Image 2013. When I do a back up (to a USB stick). It doesnt matter if I set up Incremental type or Differential, when it comes to the scheduled time to re run it says it cant find the back up, but it is there.

Probably the Windows drive letter changed for the USB stick. Assign a permanent drive letter to the USB stick high in the alphabet, then create a brand new backup task for that location.

Don't think it's that. As soon as i do a back up I tried to validate it. No Luck. USB is always Drive F.
But thank you for trying.

Brian,
When you first created the task, this specific usb stick had to be attached and targeted as the destination.
As MVP Tuttle suggested, try assigning a high letter to the stick and then create a new task pointing to a new folder.
Curious, What size and brand USB stick?
When you look at this stick using windows disk management, does this stick have more than 1 partition?

OK, I have found out whats wrong. I bought a cheap 64G usb stick, it's faulty.
I backed up to my external hard drive and all is well.
Thank you both very much for your time.

If you buy a large-capacity USB flash drive (and 64 GB is very large) at a too-cheap price, likely it's a fake. They use a technical trick to make a lower-capacity chip report as much larger than it is. When you actually try to use the reported space, it fails. Plus, the chips they use are sub-standard to begin with.
There are tons of these fakes for sale on eBay, discount Asian retail sites, and other on-line venues. Often they look exactly like the real thing, usually with a good brand name such a Sony.
