Home 2010 Tools & Utilities - Manage Acronis Secure Zone

I have a second internal 1TB drive totally allocated to ASZ. I have since wanted to reduce the ASZ to half the drive size. Using the Tools & Utilities I executed a resize command to reduce the ASZ to half the 1TB drive. I executed that command 4 days ago. The utility continues to run and with no progress bar to go by I have no clue how many more days it is going to take that utility to complete. I have verified the utility is taking up 15% of my CPU cycles. What may be at issue is I migrated Home 2010 from a 32 bit PC to a 64 bit PC. From a backup and recovery perspective the migration worked without a problem. Scheduled backups and commands work without a problem. Does anyone have any information on why the Home 2010 partition utility is taking so long to complete? Any recommendations on how better to partition the drive to make the ASZ take up only half the drive?
