How do i read Task Scheduler Manager
Hi All
im having a problem with one of my back ups that wont run, i wanted to use the Scheduler Manager to zap the task schedule and start again, i have looked at http://kb.acronis.com/content/1518
But cant work out how im supposed to work out what task is what, it would be ok if it gave you the task name but it doesn't, just a load of script number, also i seem to have a lot of tasks according to the scheduler manager so i would like to find out if there are some old ones in there that need to be deleted.
Please can anyone help??
Thanks

Have you tried just deleting the task from inside ati and then creating a new task?

Update
I have found the script folder and deleted the offending task schedule using the manager, i have also deleted the task within True image and started form scratch so we will see how that goes, but i noticed in the script folder there was a lot of scripts that seem to be blank?, are these from where i have created tasks with TI and then deleted them, if so would it be safe to delete these scripts as well just in case they are interfering with other tasks?
I have attached one of the scripts as a txt document so you can see what i mean.
Thanks again
Pete

The script you attached was one created by the program to do a validation. Perhaps you had or have some tasks set for the program to do a monthly validation.
Yes, this script can be deleted. The only script you need is the ones you have backups tasks listed for in the main menu and these can be identified by the time and date of the creation or execution.

I think the default in at least some builds, when you set up a task, it's set for monthly validations -- but you can change that setting in each task.

Thanks for the advice guys, i have all my back ups set to validate after the back up is performed not monthly, i have checked the other scripts that show they are for validations & each relate to a particular backup.
in fact the one i posted relates to a task for my wife's documents & that is set to validate after each backup so think i will leave alone & see what happens with that one task that was giving me problems.
