How do you get the trial versions to register with Acronis

Thread needs solution

Support have told me to open a case for snapman.sys issues. My problem is when I go back through the support pages to open a case it tells me I don;t have any registered products. Reading the FAQ's etc it states that the trial registers against acronis when you input tour name and email address during installation. I've done this process at least 12 times today trying to get acronis to recognise my trial installation. None of these have actually shown up on the support pages so I can only assume that the acronissi registration process is broken. This makes it impossible to open a case at all.

Does anyone else have a method of registering a trial product so you can get support or is all of this just too hard for acronis to deal with ?

I would be very surprised if you could register any trial version. I've never installed a trial version but I would not expect to be able to register it. After all it is truly a trial and most likely time limited. Hopefully they have a link to answer questions but it must be clearly understood that this is in regards to a trial attempt not a product purchase.

Would suggest you read the following knowledge base article it clearly identifies 15 days support for the trial product and states that the registration will provide this capability.

You can’t register trial version but you can get support for it. Follow this link http://www.acronis.com/support/index.html then choose Start Here -> Presales/Licensing -> my question is not listed here -> Choose either Live Chat or Submit request.

Use the boot CD most of the time its more effective.
