How to download TI 2014 update?
I just spent over an hour downloading True Image 2014. Upon installing it I find it wants to download an updated version. I can see no way of doing this from a browser where I can download it to a file. There is no way I'm going to do this for each of my 3 PCs. How do I download this update just once?

If you are installing and the installer says somewhere near the start that it can download a newer version, tell it no, and continue with the install.
Hmm. You misunderstood my question, but I think you may have answered it anyway.
I don't recall that the installer mentioned anything about being able to download a newer version, but if it did, and if I has said "Yes" I would not be in this predicament. Instead, the installer downloaded the un-updated version of TI 2014.

If the check for updates doesn't tell you there is an update, then you should be fine.
That's what happened. It checked for updates and found them. And it will find them for the other 2 PCs I'm going to install this on. So I'll have to download the updated version 3 times instead of once since it doesn't give me the option of downloading to a file..

Oh. I guess that's what I should have done, but the web page I found for buying and downloading didn't mention the "product update" page (or if it did, I didn't see it). I'll see what happens if I download the installer from the update page.

Just for information purposes, if the TI updater downloads and install the update, the installer file will be located in the users Temp folder.
I tend to cancel the update wizard and as suggested download directly from my account.

This link should help. It illustrates how to find and download your TI backup program installer files.
