How to enable auto Purge feature
I currently have one of my users using Acronis True Image 2013 and the software seems to be having issues with the the consolidation feature.
I may be mistaken but my assumption for the consolidation feature is to predetermine how long backups should be kept and when they should be purged. I've set a job to only keep 150GB of backups however the Acronis software is going way over this specified allocation.
I've searched the Acronis website for documentation on how to do get this done however I seem to only be able to find documentation for the older version of this software.
Is anyone else coming from this same issue?

The backup job was completely recreated a few weeks ago. I have not tried recreating it with different revisions however I will try that and get back to you.
I'll update this thread with my results so that other users can hopefully find it useful.

In addition to what MVP Tuttle has suggested, perhaps you and your users would find link #2 helpful.
Set up your new task using the example of Figures 11-Full; or 11-Inc; or 11-Dif; depending upon the type of backup you want to use. You can change the 6 and 4 examples to fit your needs. Be sure and read the text associated with each example you wish to use.
The option "store no more than X recent version chains" is the control to how many files are retained before automatic deletion occurs. Acronis always creates the replacement full before deleting the oldest chain so must plan for the extra temporary space in determining how much storage space you can assign to backups.
