How to remove system reserved partition in Windows 8

Thread needs solution

Drive C: has 2 partitions (1. A 350 MB system reserved and 2. a 1862.68 GB with the rest of files)
I have used Acronis True Image 2013 to backup both partitions of C: to a different internal drive M: (1863.01 GB)
Essentially C: and M: have same size.
All drives are NTFS
How could I repartition C: and merge its partitions into 1?

Is there a step-by-step instructional?
(please feel free to be liberal with your instructions - I need all the help I can get - lol)

Thank you all for your time

Sincerely,
Stan

Let's first verify that your disk is an MBR disk. Right click in the bottom left corner of your screen, select disk management. IN the menu, choose view > top > list disk. Verify your disk is MBR.
If it is GPT, don't mess with the partitions.
If it is MBR, you can simply delete the system reserved partition and then follow these instructions to rebuild the boot records with the Windows 8 installation DVD:
