How to save ATIH backup/image settings ??
Hope this is understandable since I am under massive sedation trying to use ATIH !! Had I paid the $49 requested for this...I would be confined by this time.
The basics are great...the execution is driving me nuts !!
If I re-image an Acronis image...obviously all Acronis settings from the current C: drive are changed/over-written by the older image. Is there a way to save my specific default setup for Acronis backups/images so when I do have to re-image...I just just copy the Acronis settings into the new imaged drive Aconis settings instead of manually resetting the default or newly existing Acronis settings from the old image ?
Thanks...TRinAZ

After you have created a backup task export it and save (obviously to a partition which will not be erased) and import it back when you need to run it again.
Thanks...I have multiple backup tasks....I have the Tools/Utilities open...but hitting "Export backup Settings" opens the save zip file window...but how do you specify what backup task your saving the settings from...?...I have about 5 different tasks with different backup settings...since your working with 2 separate Acronis windows....how do you specify what particular task is associated with the saved zip file ?
Thanks...

It will export whatever is on the backups list in Acronis. If you got five tasks in the backup list then all five will be exported and when you import all five tasks will be relisted.
Probably the most convenient is to export the entire list. Next drag and create shortcuts of all tasks to your desktop and then save them to a folder in a different partition.
Now you can import the list and copy the folder with the saved shortcuts on the desktop.
Click on any specific shortcut to start the individual operation.
