How to Validate Multi-DVD Backup?

Using ACTH 2011 Build 6597, I created a backup split into five 4.5 GB .tib files, and copied each file onto its own DVD for archiving.

How do I validate the DVD copy of the backup?

I tried right clicking the .tib file and selecting Archive - Validate.

File #5 validated, but only that file.

File #1 didn't do anything.

File #4 gave a message about not being able to add to the backup list.

Is there a way to validate the entire backup? Some versions of ACT back, it would do all the disks in one validate but apparently that has been improved out of it.

You may need to copy the DVDs to a hard drive since TI didn't create the DVDs directly.

That's a real shame. Validating the DVDs directly would check not only the backup but also the integrity of the disk.

Too bad this ability was "improved" out of the program.
